I can heartily recommend bead eaving, in my case off-loom, and the ownership of dogs. Oh, and wearing what you like!

I'm not retired, but have the pleasure of working part time - and do five of the eight on your list!
I can heartily recommend them.
Maybe I'll look in to bead weaving too :)
